Complexity reduction & standardization

The visible costs of technical complexity are generally well known: stocks, purchasing, certification, etc. Indirect costs are often less visible, yet they are substantial, from sales to operations

Technical complexity does not appear all at once, it is the result of history: successive developments, external growth, diversity of customer demands, etc.

Standardizing and reducing complexity in a sustainable way aims at maximizing the top line by simplifying sales processes and the bottom line by relying on the most profitable products and by strongly reducing the direct and indirect costs of managing this complexity.

The projects are carried out in three successive stages:

An efficient transformation approach can then be conducted with first a proof of concept, then the transformation itself which leads to an organization that masters its complexity.
