Our collaboration with Mérieux Développement

An Asset for Creating Value and Improving Competitiveness

On 7 September 2017, IAC Partner Jean-Baptiste Guillaume was invited by investment fund Mérieux Développement to lead a round table on design to cost. The event was organised as part of the Mérieux Développement Business Day and brought together five speakers from the fund’s client portfolio:

  •  Michèle Lesieur, CEO, Supersonic Imagine;
  •  Adrien Mithalal, Founder and CEO, Physio-Assist;
  •  Éric Mottay, Chairman and CEO, Amplitude Laser Group;
  •  Alex Rapoport, CEO, Ninox Medicals;
  • Fabrice Romano, Founder, Chairman and CEO, Keranova.

Established in 2009, Mérieux Développement is an investment fund specialising in growth and innovation equity in the healthcare sector. A subsidiary of French holding company Mérieux Institute, the fund invests capital to support future industry leaders and promote initiatives that aim at solving today’s medical challenges.

The event was an opportunity for Inter Action Consultants to lead a debate on the firm’s first expertise: design and redesign to cost, applied specifically to the healthcare industry, one of the firm’s sectors of activity. After he presented and explained these concepts, essential to achieve greater industrial competitiveness, Jean-Baptiste Guillaume gave participants every key to actively launch design- or redesign-to-cost projects feeling confident.
