Stages of a career at IAC

Consultant

Responsibilities and tasks

The Consultant is involved in one or several missions of the company under the responsibility of a Manager (from Head of Mission to Director). As such, he is responsible for :

 

  • Preparing meetings
  • Facilitation of working groups
  • The drafting of the reports with the possible assistance of a Junior Consultant
  • Validation of action plans
  • Periodic progress synthesis of projects
  • Writing presentations to the Steering Committee

In addition, the Senior Consultant must demonstrate the ability to train one or more Junior Consultants to develop their skills.

Required skills

The Consultant must have the following skills:

  • Diploma of technical higher education Grandes Ecoles d'Ingénieur Bac+5
  • Excellent level in English with one or two other languages spoken if possible including French
  • For a Consultant, have successfully assumed the functions of a Junior Consultant or have one or two successful industrial experiences of at least 3 to 4 years
  • For a Senior Consultant, having successfully assumed the functions of Consultant, having contributed to the development of one or more clients, being very autonomous in the conduct of an assignment or having one or two successful industrial experiences of 5 to 7 years minimum

Project Leader

Responsibilities and tasks

The Project Leader:

 

  • Ensures the relationship with the client under the responsibility of the Manager
  • Is responsible for client missions and projects and manages the best interests of the company in one or more business sectors
  • Provides diagnosis and participates in technical proposals for clients
  • Provides mission realization and supervision
  • Watch for quality of interventions and client satisfaction

Required skills

The Project Leader must have the following skills:

 

  • Excellent level in English with if possible one or two other spoken languages including French
  • A has demonstrated as a Senior Consultant his ability to totally master projects by obtaining new missions
  • Animate the team of Consultants, Senior Consultants to obtain a high degree of customer satisfaction attested by the customer satisfaction surveys

The Project Leader progressively constitutes a network of relationships enabling him to seize business development opportunities for the company.

Manager

Responsibilities and tasks

The Manager:

 

  • Ensures the relationship at the highest level of responsibility with the client
  • Is in charge of one or more sectors of activity on which he is recognized as an expert
  • Is responsible for several client accounts that he administers and that he best manages the interests of the company in one or more business sectors that he supervises
  • Carries out diagnoses and technical proposals for clients
  • Ensures the supervision of the missions of which he is the origin of the sale
  • Watch for quality of interventions and client satisfaction
  • Participates in the Enterprise Development Committees (CODEV)

Required skills

The Manager must have the following skills:

 

  • Diploma of technical higher education Grandes Ecoles d'Ingenieur Bac+5
  • Excellent level in English with if possible one or two other spoken languages including French
  • A demonstrates as Head of Mission his ability to fully control a customer account by obtaining new assignments
  • Led the team of Consultants, Senior Consultants or Heads of Mission to obtain a high degree of customer satisfaction attested by customer satisfaction questionnaires

The Manager gradually builds a network of relationships enabling him to seize all opportunities for business development for the company.
